BUSINESS MODEL
Mr. Daniel is the founder and majority owner of Seven D Oil & Gas, Inc., which is a Houston based, privately owned, independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas onshore Texas and Louisiana.
Seven D’s business model is to focus on the development of and participation in geophysical technology based prospects incorporating detailed geological and engineering data, supplemented by providing expert consulting services to outside companies and individuals. The company has no debt and funds 100% of its operations from internal cash flow. Mr. Daniel founded the company in 1993.
SCOTT M. DANIEL BIO
Mr. Daniel started as a staff geophysicist at Conoco in Houston in 1974. After leaving Conoco in 1980 Mr. Daniel was employed by a series of small independent oil and gas exploration companies including Lyons Petroleum, Murchison Oil & Gas, Dan A Hughes Company and Yuma Petroleum. Mr. Daniel consulted for Yuma Petroleum through Seven D from 1993 through 1999. In 1999 Mr. Daniel left Yuma and placed Seven D in dormancy to join CLK as a member. CLK was a consulting firm that handled exploration for McMoRan Oil & Gas. In 2002 Mr. Daniel left CLK to open his own consulting office reactivating Seven D.
EDUCATION & ASSOCIATIONS
Mr. Daniel received a B.A. in Math and a B.S. in Geology from the University of Southern California in 1974 and a M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Southwest Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1980. Mr. Daniel is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist (AAPG), the AAPG - Division of Professional Affairs (DPA #5877), the Houston Geological Society (HGS), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG #5044), the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES #3003) and is a Licensed Professional Geologist through the State of Texas (Lic. #285).
